I planted radishes with the carrots because it takes a while for carrots to germinate...radishes come up really fast and I saw them peeking out yesterday.
Dwight and Charles got the four posts for my wisteria arbor in and just in time as my wisteria has started sprouting. I will let that the posts dry in the cement for a few days and then put the top on it.
While at the yurt prepping it for guests I found some mushrooms that just looked edible. They were growing on a piece of old damp pine.....did my research and it turned out to be oyster mushrooms...I fryed them up and all three of us survived...they were delicious...now I am going to see if I can grow more from this log.
Currants and blueberries are flowering well. Even one of the grape plants I bought starting setting forth a bunch of grapes which I had to pinch off and again next year to make sure I get all the energies into the root system.
