LONE WOLF CABIN

 End of August ........Our last night at the cabin, then moving back to the house. Alas the end of summer is near. Cool nights, some leaves changing colour, squirrels busy cutting seed pods of of cedars, jays squawking, beavers busy, crickets cricking and more.

It was a hot summer, not a lot of rain, the little lake at the cabin was low but the water has never been better for swimming. We have a lovely little beach area and lots of water toys to enjoy.

We did not get all the projects done that we liked but we made enough headway at our own pace to be satisfied.

At the moment I am still working on the railing up at the sauna. 

I am suffering with lack of sleep because of bronchitis...coughing in the night keeps me awake!

Puppy Arthur is growing and turning out to be a lovely dog.

Not sure is I mentioned but Josh my one and only is getting married next May in New Orleans....got our tickets

 Dwight and I have decided after the summer rentals are over at the house (Owls Nest) that we are going to stay put in one place, so no more Owls Nest to rent.

The yurt and cabin are almost finished with things we want to do there and the rentals from that are good enough. The garden will be at the house and not in the middle of the property for the deer and groundhogs to devour. Winston and Arthur will keep them all away. Dwight and I both like to garden, veggies and flowers, fruit trees and berries. 

It is going to be so nice not to have to move out other than to go on holidays and have friends stay at the house and look after the animals and rentals.
