Warm and muggy, rain finally ended about noon. Black flies seem to be gone, mosquitoes coming out. Everything is lush and green. We did a few things today like paddle out the swim raft that had drifted to shore, Dwight dug out some roots, I did some edging, weeding, planted a few more trees. Dwight has the tractor up and running, yeahhhh!
The yellow lady slippers are out.
Yesterday afternoon for fun Dwight and I cleared out a path to the creek by the yurt site, its a really lovely little secluded spot. After that we headed to the cabin, the lake was high and we had to take down the beaver dam again. The garden at the cabin is doing really well, I planted the middle of May. Flowers are all in place, it looks gorgeous.Hopefully the backhoe comes tomorrow.
