The gardens are exploding....I was very early to start and have been lucky.
Lilacs are in bloom and I have my bouquet of lily of the valley by my bedside...love the smell of these two flowers. The butterfly enjoying the flower is an Eastern tiger swallowtail.
Yesterday I began the renovation of the turkey coop. The size of this shed is 9 by 11' and it is sinking into the ground. It was originally put on very large skids which have now totally rotted as well as part of the floor. We need to remove the floor and jack it up but the turkey run is attached to it. I will be insulating it and using it as a workshop or bunky with an outdoor shower behind.
