Dwight hauled the last of the lumber he had cut from the back forty and I built a couple of simple raise beds then Dwight did the hard work of filling them halfway with sand and the rest to black garden soil. Today the potatoes, carrots, radishes, etc got planted. Tomorrow I plant the beans.
Dwight was very busy today cutting all the slab into wood chips for our landscaped while I planted, divided hostas, worked the soil in prep for the wood chips. One load of chips applied the other tomorrow, picked up guests from the cabin at two, brought back rhubarb and asparagus...Its 5 and Im pooped, bring laundry in, having a beer, then get supper ready.
All I can say is ....good lord Dwight and I work hard.
