Here we go, the web site gets a face lift.
We are getting lots of rain now, perfect for the gardens, saw dragon flies on Friday and I think the blackflies may be just about finished now. Our asparagus garden (75 plants) is now in its 4th year and now we have extra going into the freezer.
The garden is growing larger every year as we continue to improve the sandy soil. Dwight picked up a wood chipper for the back of the tractor and now the entire gardens are mulched with wood chips! Lovely stuff!
This afternoon Im out to plant 20 cedar trees and Dwight just came back with some new hydraulic hoses for his tractor and hopefully it will be up and running again making chips!
We keep waiting for the weather to change so we can get the back hoe in to clear our new site for the yurt.
