Meet Heidi our new dog....yup the third one. This girl is a German Shepherd, deserted in Low Quebec.....was spotted roaming around for 2 weeks. Someone took her in but they already had two small dogs and both worked. In the meantime it was posted in the Wakefield news, posted put out, neighbourhood combed to no avail. Then friends of friends went looking for a home for her......the rest is history.
Now I still keep thinking the owners will show, I cant believe that someone would abandon her....she is so lovely. I figure she is under 2 years of age, no chip. She is local, gets on well with the other dogs, the cats tolerate her or she tolerates them, has good manners, we have had her since Sunday. Anyway I will probably give her away if I find the perfect forever person for her.
