Caramel Sauce

Caramel Sauce
I always double this recipe

• 1/2 cup brown sugar
  
• 1/4 cup butter
• 1/4  cup carnation milk
• pinch of salt....really enhances the caramel, especially if the butter you use is unsalted.

Melt butter in microwave (my preference) or on stove, add brown sugar and stir. Slowly add carnation, heat up about 30 seconds till it thickens but dont cook it,  stir and voila. Store in fridge.
It will thicken as it cools. It is also great on ice cream and toast!

Try sliced apples dipped in the caramel sauce....yup I love caramel sauce!
